FLCOE Innovation School Network

The FLCOE Innovation School Network is a collaborative ecosystem of schools within the Florida Conference Office of Education (FLCOE) dedicated to transforming education through innovation, technology, and personalized learning. This network fosters a culture of creativity, problem-solving, and real-world application, equipping students with the skills necessary for success in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

By integrating design thinking, STEM+C, entrepreneurship, and social innovation, the Innovation School Network empowers educators and students to engage in competency-based, self-directed learning that extends beyond traditional classroom boundaries. Through shared resources, professional development, and strategic partnerships, schools in the network lead the way in redefining education for the future.

FLCOE Innovation School Network

The FLCOE Innovation School Network consists of two distinct models designed to foster innovative learning experiences across the Florida Conference school system:

FLCOE Innovation Schools – These are schools that have fully embraced innovation as a core pillar of their educational approach. Innovation is integrated across all grade levels and subjects, creating a dynamic, student-centered learning environment that emphasizes design thinking, STEM+C, entrepreneurship, and social innovation. Educators in these schools are trained to facilitate personalized, competency-based learning experiences, ensuring that students develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills that prepare them for the future.

FLCOE Innovation Academies – These schools implement innovation through a school-within-a-school model, offering specialized innovation-focused programs while still operating within a traditional school structure. Innovation Academies serve as incubators for new learning methodologies, providing students with access to hands-on, project-based learning experiences that align with real-world applications. Schools in this category are on a pathway toward full innovation integration, allowing them to scale up successful programs and methodologies over time.
